Natural History Museum

The Museum is a world-class visitor attraction and leading science research centre, that cares for more than 80 million specimens spanning billions of years. By day the museum is open to the public and welcomes more than five million visitors annually.

The Natural History Museum is one of London's most iconic venues. Its magnificent architecture and collections create the perfect backdrop for any event. From informal and intimate to creative and spectacular, the Museum's variety of spaces will suit any corporate event, private party or wedding.

For a more intimate celebration, mingle with your guests in the Romanesque North Hall. For additional outdoor space, you can combine the North Hall with the tranquil and contemporary Darwin Centre courtyard - ideal for a summer wedding or drinks reception. Alternatively, you and your guests can dine in the celestial Earth Hall, raising a toast next to the resident Stegosaurus fossil, before ascending through the mixed-metal Earth sculpture into one of the fascinating galleries.

Darwin Centre

The Darwin Centre opened to the public in 2009 and houses the Museum's historic collections as well as its working scientists. The centre's unique Cocoon structure displays the Museum's most important plant and insect specimen collections, and is equipped with state-of-the art research facilities used by more than 200 scientists.

Steel beams and reflective glass, together with the white limestone floor and curved concrete walls, provide a bright and modern event setting. The opportunity to explore the Cocoon is an extra treat to any event.

The courtyard is a tranquil environment for reception drinks followed by a dinner in the atrium and provides the perfect setting for a summertime party, with additional space inside.

The state-of-the-art Attenborough Studio has a capacity of 60 people and can be used for press conferences and presentations, followed by drinks and canapés in the courtyard.

Hintze Hall

Hintze Hall is the largest venue within the Natural History Museum. With its iconic Victorian architecture and soaring arches, it provides the perfect setting to dance the evening away. It's a popular space for dinner dances, awards ceremonies, fashion shows and private events.
